The Helly Hansen NOOD (National Offshore One Design) Regatta series of 2017 scheduled has been prepared.
The five-stop series will cover sailing destination of countries that are renowned.
Helly Hansen is a company providing technical apparel for sailing and has experience of more than 130 years in the field. The sailing apparel protects professionals in the water. The company has sponsored the NOOD since three years and this is the fourth time, it has come up with NOOD.
- The Series NOOD Regatta Helly Hansen Will Cover Following Destinations.
- Petersburg Yacht Club, St. Petersburg from February 17 to 19.
- Coronado Yacht Club and San Diego Yacht Club, San Diego from March 17 to 19.
- Annapolis Yacht Club, Annapolis from May 5 to7.
- Chicago Yacht Club, Chicago from June 9 to11.
- Corinthian Yacht Club, Marblehead from July 27 to30.
There will be a winner for each race and the winner will get a berth Regatta championship of Helly Hansen Caribbean NOOD. This event will be hosted at (BVI) British Virgin Island by Sunsail. The date of the event will be from October 22 to27.
Director Water sales of Helly Hansen Brian Leslie said “Company is happy holding Regatta series, in association with NOOD, this event is an efficient way of getting connected with sailing sport as well as sailors. Moreover, in Junior Crew, participation of youth in program is also great.”
A series of NOOD regatta includes the national, international and regional talents to compete. The sailors compete with players of local communities in their home water. Registration for the event start two months prior to the event and thus of Helly Hansen series registration are closed. However, other Regatta series of NOOD are scheduled later in their year, and it is open for registration. One can visit the site of NOOD to get their registration done.
